Point of Interest (POI)

POI’s are place or locations you want your TomTom ONE to remember for some reasons and retrieve them at a later time. Examples of tomtom one poi are restaurants, bus terminals, hotels, airports, museums and many more. There are thousands of POI’s already pre-installed on your ONE.

From the main menu, tap Navigate to. It shall provide you with 5 options - Home, Favourite, Address, Recent destination and Point of Interest. Select the option depending on your preference. As a safety precaution, it is better to prepare your journey before you start driving. There will be instances that you already have planned a course but for some reasons you see a need to change it without altering your destination. Tap the Find alternative from the main menu. It will show several options - Calculate alternative, Avoid roadblock, Travel via, Recalculate original, Avoid part of route, and Minimize traffic delays. Review the TomTom ONE manual and www.tomtomtrade.com to determine which one is best used under certain circumstance.
